Shirai Aoi opened her dream pastry shop in Osaka, but the business didn’t go well and the shop eventually closed. What appeared afterward was a culinary researcher with peculiar habits, Sadoya Manami. In the kitchen of the closed shop, she began holding a “one-person confectionery class.” Though reluctant, Shirai decided to cooperate. The students who joined the mysterious confectionery class each carried their own heartaches. The time spent making and tasting sweets gently soothed their lonely hearts.
